These days many consumers treat synthetic ingredients in their skin care as potentially harmful, and so they should.

If you are asking yourself whether natural skin care products are the answer to all your skin care problems? The answer is a definite Yes. I have not come across a single skin problem that cannot be addressed equally well using natural skin care products as using any other types. Admittedly, I’ve only been in practice for just over 20 years, however, so far I have yet to see a skin condition that cannot be treated using a natural approach, excluding of course emergency medical conditions such as severe 3rd degree burns over large parts of the body, etc.

In an article I can across recently, entitled “Are Natural Skin Care Products the Answer To All Problems?”, the author asks the following questions:

So, are natural skin care products the answer to all of our problems? What if a natural skin care product is not available for the treatment of a particular skin disorder? Are the synthetic skin care products so harmful that they should be banned?

The answer is No natural skin care products do not fix all of our problems. Maybe the author should have asked …so, are natural skin care products to answer to all our skin care problems? - then the answer would have still been No, and neither do any other skin care products on the market today - natural or otherwise.

Not all skin problems can be treated using some topical application - Many diseases such as measles, chickenpox, herpes and many more are diseases, which as part of their symptomatology, have a skin component. To think that using natural skin care products or for that matter a synthetically formulated skin care product could treat this types of conditions is ludicrous.

Sure, combine your internal medication (natural or drug-based) with a good quality, natural skin care product to address the itching, irritation and redness, etc., but don’t think for one moment that a skin care products is going to effect the chickenpox virus or any other infectious disease.

Similarly, skin problems just like any other long-term disorder have a multi-faceted complexity and require a systemic approach to treatment.

If on the other hand we are simply referring to dry, oily, mature or sensitive skin, than there is no need for synthetic chemicals. Nor is this the case in the treatment of dermatitis, psoriasis or similar conditions, unless they are of a genetic origin - then there is very little that can be done other than symptom control, which natural skin care products can do just as well as any synthetic equivalent, if not better.

You see most mass-produced skin care products, whether they are 100% natural skin care products or have a synthetic component, will not work on any condition that has an internal disease process involved. For example a hormonal imbalance may cause acne. This acne will persist until the hormonal imbalance is corrected.

Similarly, viral infections can cause skin rashes and they will persist until the viral infection has been addressed. Again, sure use a topical ointment or cream for the rash and yes, make sure it is a natural skin care product, because you don’t need to introduce more chemicals into the body, which it may have difficulty in utilising and/or eliminating.

In the same article, the answers to the above questions states:

Different people have different answers to these questions. However, the reality is that due to presence of synthetic preservatives, it’s really tough to find a natural skin care product that is 100% natural. There are natural skin care products that have natural preservatives, but their cost might be detrimental. Moreover, such natural skin products have a shorter shelf life and hence are not preferred by the manufacturers of natural skin care products.

Firstly, 100% natural skin care products are really not hard to find. There are dozens of companies that produce good quality, natural skin care products and they can be found using Yahoo, MSN or Google without much difficulty. Yes, they can be expensive, but they are no more expensive than similar, products containing synthetic chemicals produced by major brands such as L’Oreal, Lancôme, and others. In fact, most are a lot less costly.

Secondly, just because a natural skin care product has a natural preservative does not make them any more expensive. I should know, as we make a large range of natural skin care products and have done so for over 20 years. We supply customers all over the world, as well as our own patients, and over 80% of our customers have been long-term customers. Some of our products use natural preservatives such as Grape seed Oil or Wheat Germ Oil and neither of these oils are very pricey.

In addition, Essential oils are some of the most powerful antiseptic substances around, some are also have powerful antibiotic properties and if used correctly, they will preserve natural skin care products for at least 2 to 3 years without any trouble. Furthermore, many of our natural skin care and personal care product contain herbal extracts. Herbal extracts are by nature alcoholic and alcohol is a very good preservative. So you see, good quality natural skin care products do not need to have preservatives (synthetic ones) added to them.

This author further states:

Some people carry a wrong notion that since natural skin care products are natural, they cannot cause any harm to the skin. The suitability of a skin care product is not based on whether it is synthetic or natural. An unsuitable natural skin care product can harm you in almost the same way as a synthetic one. So, use natural skin care products, but be open to synthetic ones too (you might need them when a natural solution is not available)

Sure, we all know that nature produces powerful substances and some of these are the most potent killers if we are exposed to them - strychnine is an example that comes to mine, but any substance found in nature has the potential to create problems, some more serious than other. Why else would herbalist have to be trained for years if you could take any old tea and drink it to your heart’s content?

Many people have allergies to all sorts of chemicals (I mean naturally occurring ones as well as synthetic ones). However, that is not the product’s fault, these people unfortunately for them have a hypersensitivity to particular substances and their immune system needs to be treated. DON’T use a synthetic substitute - the natural substances are just as powerful as synthetic chemicals, why do you think is it that modern medicine still uses morphine-based drugs to treat severe pain? - there is no synthetic substitute that is more powerful a pain killer.

Natural skin care products that have been properly formulated to target a specific skin care need, are safer, usually more effective and cost no more than their synthetic counter parts.

When ever you choose to buy a new product which you use on your skin be it a natural one or not, you should consider the following:

  • Always look at the ingredient list and see if there are any to which you may be allergic.
  • Before you start using a product apply a small area of your skin first to see if you have any undesirable reaction. You may be allergic to something in the product, which you are not aware of and this may or may not be a natural substance.
  • Know what the product does and what it is indicated for before you buy it.
  • Choose products to suit your skin type and your skin’s needs.
  • If you are not sure, ask the manufacturer, write them an email or ring them up and ask them to explain or help.

Power of the spoken word prepares both the state of mind of the speaker and the attitude to be developed by the listener from simple dialogue. Initial awareness of wrinkles may exist but certainly not holding even a minor place in determining the level of the relationship.

The speaker holds an important key by not continually allowing past negative experiences to be verbalized. Once released these words promptly become the overriding points determining dialogue of numerous conversations. These words may be shared with numerous people through different conversations. Each time their consistency hits the atmosphere more negative aging powers are being fed.

An elderly mother may still be telling the world of the behavior of her eldest son. This could be the simple reason for the old angry face and lined skin which was totally unnecessary. The age old warnings we have been given not to ponder on things of the past has a special purpose.

Unnecessary words from memories have the strength to not only age the speaker by indicating a date or season but to build and water feelings of anger, rage, resentment and unforgiveness. Maintenance of any of these, no matter how small or distant has the power to prevent any youthful glow even if a good cream, vitamins, tonics, diets and gym fees are being purchased and diligently followed.

Collagen is such an important part of our skin. Collagen is a Greek word that means glue producing and another term for it is connective tissue.

Collagen acts as scaffolding for our body. It helps control shapes and differentiation of cells.

Collagen also helps regenerate broken bones and heals wounds. Vitamin C helps produce this important tissue in our skin.

Seventy-five percent of our skin is collagen. However, as we age, our face looses this as an effect of gravity, sun exposure and many years of facial movements such as smiling, chewing and squinting. Vitamin C in whatever amount may not be sufficient to replace the lost elasticity of the skin.

Facial movements cause’s tissues under the skin to breakdown, it thus lost its elasticity, and collagen tissue breakdown means wrinkling. And because the skin breakdown happens in your face, laugh lines, smile lines, crow’s feet and facial creases appear and this strips you of your youthful looking and plump skin.

Your age will now show in your face, which is of course, what most women dread.

I may need to mention as well that wrinkling does not happen to older people only; it may happen to any one at any age. Even for those young girls who are successful in loosing weight may see fine lines in their face due to sunken cheeks. This is especially so for those who lost so much weight so easily.

However, do not despair, modern science have a cure for this, filler injectables using collagen or fat.

This filler injectables help to improve your facial appearance by filling the facial wrinkles, creases and furrows. Collagen injectables also fill tissue under sunken cheeks, skin depression and some types of scar. Is it not wonderful to look youthful and plump cheeked again?

You may need to know that medical experts say that for severe wrinkles such as lipstick lines that form around the mouth and of course, for those who really are older, filler injectables might not be enough. For this case, your plastic surgeon or dermatologist may need to recommend that you under go skin resurfacing procedure if you want to get rid of this severe wrinkles.

However, if your problem is just fine lines and sunken checks, filler injectable treatment might be enough for your need. Take advantage of collagen treatment because it heals faster than any other procedure.

Whether your problem needs filler injectables or skin resurfacing such as chemical peel or skin dermabrasion, your plastic surgeon may be the best person to give you the recommendation.

If finally your plastic surgeon recommends collagen treatment, then he will check you for allergic reaction on the collagen substance. This is because allergic reaction to the collagen substance is the common problem of patients who wants to undergo skin repair using filler injectables.

If your surgeon will find you allergic to the collagen injectable, he may opt to recommend fat injectable instead.

Fat injectable is not prone to allergy because the fat will come from your own body.

However, in most cases in a fat injection procedure, healing is slower than that of collagen injectable.

Finally, you may need to know that filler injectables do not last for very long time. In most cases, the good effect of filler injectable only lasts for three to six month. In rare cases and good post-operative care, the good effect might last for a year.

You may need to ask your doctor for the best care to extend the good effect of collagen treatment if you want that youthful and plump face without the dreaded wrinkles.

Traditionally lives have been divided into phases of youth, middle age and old age. As these are getting longer according to the Promise the last part is swiftly becoming the phase with the longest number of years. No wonder focus on anti-aging has reached massive portion.

When lives were assigned 70 years there was little concern of spending the last half dozen watching sunsets and maybe even receiving the honor of giving speeches to more youthful but bored listeners.

With the possibility of an additional 50 some quality thought must be assigned to just how these could be spent. Anti-aging is more relevant now than ever across a life.

The original life season is being extended with a planned purpose. Those who choose to ensure that the end will be better than the beginning will already have an awareness of the new job ahead but maybe not the level of commitment.

There will be an inbuilt amount of God given anti-aging within the tasks and assignments. Our contribution to these should include a basically simple and healthy diet with exercise and fresh air but more significance will come from the attached enthusiasm, passion and commitment. In the current era the former issues have been given priority with little emphasis on the fire from the heart.

Is there a special occasion or a formal get-together in your near-future? Consider some silver or gold sparkle with a “kiss” of red.

For your event, cleanse and moisturize your face thoroughly. Wait a moment for the moisturizer to be absorbed and then remove any excess. *Tip* … Coverage (foundation, etc.) goes on more evenly over well-hydrated than dry skin. If necessary, use concealer on dark circles and blemishes. *Trick* … Squeeze concealer in the palm of your hand to warm it and then mix it with foundation for more consistent color. Apply foundation either on specific areas to even out skin tone or all over your face. (Blend any foundation carefully with the surrounding skin so there are no noticeable lines.) *Trick* … “Set” the foundation with loose powder for longer lasting wear. *Trick* … Getting fine lines? Try a face primer; it fills in fine lines and, followed with foundation, makes skin appear smoother.

For fun, decide whether to enhance your eyes or lips. You want to draw attention to one set of features but not both at the same time.

If you want the focus to be on your eyes, you can dramatize them with one, two or three colors. Opting for a single color? Choose a silver or gold, whichever blends with your skin tone and complements your outfit. *Tip* … Silvers and grays are cool colors while golds are usually warm and less aging. *Trick* … Use an eye color cream or an eye primer with eye color for longer wear (a real plus when you‘re out). You can mix both a cream or powder eye color with the eye primer. Apply your choice of silver or gold from eye lashes to brows.

Prefer more than one color? Select one as a mid-tone (over the eyelids). Add either silver or gold as an accent (lashes to creases of eyes). Highlight (under the brow bones) with whichever you haven’t used as an accent. *Trick … mix the mid-tone color with either silver or gold for an extra “pop.” *Tip* … Sparkle emphasizes fine lines so, if it’s a concern, just add sparkly color under the brow bones.

Define your eyes with eye liner only if it makes them appear larger. If your eye shadow is predominantly golden, consider a gold or brown liner. If your eye shadow is mainly silver, try a gray or black liner. *Trick* … Lining the lower lids seems to draw the eyes down. If signs of aging are a concern, concentrate on the upper lids.

Curl your eye lashes. *Tip* … Curling the lashes gives the impression of more open (wider) eyes. Follow with a mascara that meets your needs for lengthening or widening lashes. *Tip* … Brown tends to be softer and less aging while black is more dramatic.

Don’t forget your eyebrows; they help frame your face. Darken your eyebrows with either a matching brow liner or, for a softer touch, a brow powder or powder eye shadow. *Tip* … You can also brush your eye brows and set them with a clear gel.

Put on cheek color to emphasize your cheek bones. *Tip* … Either pat the color on the high points of your cheek bones or start roughly two fingers away from your nose and sweep the color up to your temples.

If you want the focus to be on your lips, tone down the eye makeup and consider a red lip shade. There’s a red for everyone. Let your skin tone determine which reds are most becoming: those with cool undertones berries) or warm undertones (corals). Then choose muted or bright, matte or shimmer depending upon the look you want to achieve. Lip liner and lip gloss are optional.

For softer lips to complement dramatic eyes, try a subdued red. Then razzle dazzle! You’ve created a special holiday look.

Anti-Aging formulas have been carefully designed to meet every pocket in every country. Mass production ranging from basic vitamins and hair color to complex hormone replacement programs attract a vast array of interest and purchasing.

Clever production has been able to offer a unique package for every income, preference and concern. Each member of the targeted groups will comfortably spend the maximum amount on the product supposedly designed to meet the need. Processes for payment are vast and seemingly attractive but once the papers have been signed full costs must be met.

The purchase and application may prove to be not quite what it was thought to be. Disappointment would be high but this wouldn’t concern the producers as more and more new comers are beginning their new season every day.

The original principles attached to the management and maintenance of life still hold the same powers assigned a couple of thousand years ago.

Dietary needs are best met by those items produced within the local area. Price should not be high but wisdom will determine if a superior content or quality justifies a higher outlay. The cost of your quality provision will be for healthy, youthful body will be available within the weekly income. The selection is personal whether on welfare or holding a seven figure bank account.

Rhinoplasty is the fancy word used for ‘nose surgery’ or a ‘nose job’. This procedure will reshape the nose by increasing or reducing size, removing the bump, changing the angle and changing the shape. Many rhinoplasty procedures are also used to relieve breathing problems.

There are a few different methods used for nose reshaping. A couple of the common practices are called endonasal rhinoplasty and external or ‘open’ rhinoplasty. Endonasal procedures are performed by making incisions inside the nose while ‘open rhinoplasty’ uses a small incision inside the nose in combination with additional small cuts on the outside. It is not fair to label one method as better than the other, but sometimes one can be more useful depending on the patient. Because no two noses are the same, the doctor will decide what the best procedure is for you.

Nose reshaping surgery can be performed under local or general anesthesia. The patients who are under local anesthesia will be slightly sedated in order to remain relaxed and numb to all pain. The general anesthesia patients will be asleep throughout the entire operation. The doctor will generally recommend which type of anesthesia they feel is best depending on the nature of the individual procedure.

Anti-aging has been awash with diets, creams, tonics, exercise to name just a few from the natural. These all have a part, some necessary, some time consuming, but many irrelevant.

The concept can only be completely taken on board and achieved as reality after the cupboard of the mind has been cleaned out and prepared for the new beginning. This may have been made obvious and necessary with an unwanted or unexpected retirement package, a family making permanent and possibly difficult changes, even a sudden realization that what’s left is going to go on for a lot longer than 5-7 years.

Preparation for the remaining time, to ensure an improved standard of living, spiritually, emotionally and naturally can be guaranteed when this has been genuinely completed.

The new season can only begin and grow in fulfillment, peace and contentment when any dominating thoughts controlling changing state of mind are dealt with and eliminated. A healthy body and mind is essential at this time. Powers of anger, resentment, bitterness and confusion can have influences through either of these gifts that remove any possibility of building and improving on the past.

It’s worth the effort to plan an afternoon to take the time to dig out any bad memories, verbalize their completion and invite fresh and positive thoughts of peace, power, contentment and love. The change will be noticed within the hour.

If you’ve never used aromatherapy massage oils, you owe it to yourself to try it. You’re in for a totally unique experience. Whether you want a massage to relax or to rejuvenate or even to heal, using aromatherapy massage oils brings the body’s senses to new heights.

Aromatherapy has made steady gains in use and for good reason. Offering the perfect combination of mental and physical well being, there is no better way to take advantage of aromatherapy than to enjoy its fragrances in massage oils.

Our body’s different senses have been shown to have a direct affect on how we feel. For example, the nose is a very sensitive part of your body. Without it, you cannot taste or smell. Imagine your favorite foods. Now, imagine you cannot taste them. That is scary, everything you eat with no taste! How do you think that would affect your attitude throughout the day?

Studies have shown that the part of your nervous system that helps to control your emotions is connected directly to your nose. Lack of smell can cause symptoms ranging from depression to anxiety and this is only one of your senses. With the knowledge of how the mind depends on the feedback from your senses, the idea of aromatherapy exploded onto the scene.

One of the more popular types of aromatherapy is massage oil, because of the variety of uses to target specific issues. Aromatherapy massage oil treatments are unlike any other oils. Whether you are in need of relaxation or need something to perk you up, there is an aroma to fit the immediate needs. Aromatherapy massage combines two excellent methods to evoke your body’s response in whatever area you feel is needed.

There are so many different types and manufacturers of aromatherapy massage oils available, it would be a good idea to do your homework before using. For the best treatment ideas, it is always best to find and pay a certified therapist to ensure you understand how to get the most impact from aromatherapy massage. Especially, when using for the first time.

To explain a couple of different oils and fragrances we will start with Lavender essential oils. Lavender essential oils are one of the few oils that you can apply directly to your skin. It is said to have burn relief power. It is important to note that these oils should not hurt you, however, if this is your first time using essential oils never use them directly on your skin unless under safe direction. Other oils are required to be diluted before use with other base oils.

Another oil gaining in popularity is the Yland Ylang essential oil. Yland Ylang essential oils have very unique properties as well. It is said that these tropical plants have the power to both arouse and sooth the senses. It also goes by another name Cananga Odorata.

Adding aromatherapy massage oils to your therapy program is one experience everyone should try at least once. (Be careful they have been known to be addictive). With the combination of massage and a scented room to awaken your senses, you have the ultimate in relaxation and healing.

Sanji Gretta has been practicing aromatherapy for quite a while. His latest website Aromatherapy Source is designed to give novice aromatherapy practitioners a introduction to the wonderful world of aromatherapy. Visit Aromatherapy Source Now to find out more about Aromatherapy Massage Oils.

Creams, surgery, programs for the body and new discoveries for the face have traditionally been nominated the most important components of Anti-aging. The basic naturally healthy diet, the daily walk and especially the removal of the sour, angry attitude seem to have been superseded expensive products bathed in clever marketing guaranteeing young skin.

Certainly a fresh clear face is important but this won’t guarantee a quality relationship. What comes out of the mouth is of far greater significance in creating a good impression at the initial introduction. A meeting for the first time is always remembered by the verbal content unless it happens to be the coming together of two potential Miss Worlds’.

This could be in the area of pleasantries, rudeness, sound advice, a necessary warning or response to a brief question touching just the beginnings. Wrinkles and crinkles would be major points of remembrance only if communication was bathed in varying levels of negative comment perhaps including a rage filled face. In this case contact would be finalized here.

If a seed of friendship was sown the skin condition may be an issue that could be reviewed quite some time down the track. It would have been the introductory smile, the first few words or the passion in the warning that birthed the friendship.
