Breast augmentation. In a society where men are obsessed with the size of a woman’s breasts it is no wonder that more and more women are having theirs enlarged. But being more attractive to a man is not the only reason women have their breasts enlarged. In this article we are going to discuss some of the psychological and not so psychological reasons that women get their breasts enlarged.

Let’s start with the obvious. A woman with small breasts will typically feel less attractive to a man, especially when she is surrounded by other women who are more endowed than she is. Not so much because of the women themselves, though they can be a bit obvious in their actions, but more because of the actions of the men around them. You don’t have to be a brain surgeon to see that most men will pay infinitely more attention to a woman with larger breasts than a woman with smaller breasts, or worse, hardly any at all. This woman feels so low about herself because of this, that ultimatel,y in spite of all the dangers, health risks, possible reactions and everything else involved, she will have her breasts enlarged. The ends justifies the means, no matter what the risk.

Then there is the woman who has her breasts enlarged for a completely different reason. This is the woman who feels she will get ahead faster in the business world if she has larger breasts. Take a look at many of your young movie starlets. It’s hard to find a one of them who isn’t well endowed. Certainly not all of them were naturally born like that. The truth is, and nobody tries to hide this fact, most women in Hollywood have some kind of cosmetic surgery, with breast augmentation being right up at the top of the list. In today’s society it is almost expected.

But Hollywood isn’t where it ends. Other women climbing up the corporate ladder also have breast augmentation done. Their thinking is that if they look like more of the stereotypical beautiful woman they will get farther in their professional lives. This stereotype isn’t helped out much by Hollywood who portrays the successful businesswoman in films in this manner. The main point here is that a woman applying for an important executive position feels, especially when being interviewed by a man, that if she is more physically attractive to her interviewer that she will have a better chance of getting the job. The sad thing is, she probably will have a better chance. It may not be fair but it’s the way things are.

And then there is the woman who just wants to feel better about herself. Maybe she’s recently divorced or has had some other kind of setback. Maybe she just wants to do something that will make her feel more like a woman. Breast augmentation is one of the first things she will think of if she’s not naturally endowed, especially if she decides she wants to get back out into society. Why not do it with a new body?

There are other reason women have cosmetic surgery of this kind. In some circumstances, say if you want to work at Hooters, you have no choice but to get your breasts enlarged if you want to get the job. That’s just the way things are.

In the next article we’re going to discuss the various methods of breast augmentation.

Like every organ in your body, our skin requires adequate nutrition to function properly. Nutrients that enhance overall body health will also promote healthy skin and hair. It needs pharmaceutical-grade supplements that provide advanced levels of essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and cofactors in convenient morning and evening packets for a difference you will see and feel.

The skin contains natural enzymes that break down the extracellular matrix–proteins that keep skin looking youthful–leading to lines and wrinkles. And, these enzymes, or MMPs, become more active as skin ages. MMP inhibitors that reduce the activity of these enzymes help slow the signs of aging. A new scientific breakthrough increases cell turnover rate and maintains a firm and elastic intercellular matrix for visible results you will see right away.

The skin reflects the state of the body’s health and looks its best when all cells in the skin’s layers are properly nourished and hydrated. The skin is the last organ to receive nutrients from the body, and the first to show signs of nutritional deficiency, imbalance, or illness. While some nutrients can be applied topically, others can only be produced from within the body. Therefore, the secrets to becoming more beautiful comes from a synergy of internal and external nutrition, as well as protection from environmental toxins and oxidation damage, which can accelerate sagging and wrinkling.

To achieve this synergy of internal and external nutrition and a protection from environmental toxins and oxidation damage, you need to develop a beauty regimen that is designed to be a comprehensive approach to skin and hair care that takes into account the nutritional needs of both the skin and body. You would need to use outer nutrients that hydrate and reduce the signs of aging. This regimen is most effective when used in conjunction with pharmaceutical-grade supplements that help to replenish and nourish the skin cells from the inside out.

To achieve a results-oriented, morning and evening regimen designed to leave skin clean, hydrated, and healthy, begin with a deep cleanse followed by a soothing toning treatment that will leave your skin refreshed. Follow with an application of one of our powerful refining treatments to help diminish the appearance of uneven skin tone, imperfections, and signs of aging. Finish with a deeply hydrating moisturizer for your face and eye area to achieve a soft, smooth appearance.

Two to three times a week, enhance the benefits of this simple skin-care regimen by exfoliating your skin with a gentle polishing scrub, followed by a luxurious, pampering masque that will leave your skin incredibly hydrated and radiant.

When used together as a system, products are clinically proven to increase elasticity, decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve texture, and boost skin’s moisture levels. In just a few short weeks you could experience dramatically visible results.

Because of the close link between nutrition and the appearance of the skin, dietary supplements are also an important step in your daily inner and outer beauty regimen. Skin is the body’s largest organ and it can absorb healthy and unhealthy substances that are applied to it. Pharmaceutical-grade products focus primarily on the cellular health of the skin and use the newest technologies available to create products that are both effective and safe. Pharmaceutical-grade complexes should be thoroughly tested by dermatologists, allergists, and ophthalmologists to ensure quality and safety. To ensure safety and quality, an independent, third-party laboratory should test them again to demonstrate effectiveness. Along with added trace minerals that encourage healthy cells, pharmaceutical-grade products should contain powerful ingredients that are clinically proven to nourish, revive, and refine the skin as they help defend against free radicals and oxidative stress.

Now the science of skin care has been revolutionized with groundbreaking, self-preserving technology. For years, scientists have worked to find an alternative to parabens, the traditional preservative used in beauty and skin-care products. After nearly ten years of research, the answer has been found in a unique, patent-pending blend of botanicals, antioxidants, and active ingredients that keep every product fresh without the need for parabens. It truly is the next generation of skin and body care.

In this 3rd and last article on breast augmentation we’re going to discuss non surgical options for women who are reluctant to go under the knife.

The safest of these is herbal supplements. They are for the most part natural and actually healthy for you. Unfortunately the results derived from these are subtle and too often, none at all. How you respond to herbal supplements depends entirely on your body chemistry. For women seeking a large increase in the size of their breasts, herbal supplements are not going to do the job.

After supplements we have what are called breast shaping systems. These are devices that a woman uses on a regular basis, mostly to exercise the muscles of the breasts. The long term goal is that eventually with proper increase in muscle strength and thickness the size of the breasts will increase. While many of these devices have been FDA tested and approved there has been no documented proof that they produce any real increase in breast size.

Next we have indictable fillers which are actually cutting edge technology. These are safe soft tissue fillers that are made up of stabilized hyaluronic acid or polyacrylamide gel. These are much safer than the silicone injections of years gone by. However, because this is fairly new, it is hard to say for certain what long range side effects may be lurking in the future of women who have had these fillers injected into them.

Next we have breast firming creams. These creams usually contain a plant extract called Pueraria Mirifica that only grows in Thailand and has a high concentrate of phytoestrogens. These are not hormones but supposedly they provide the same benefits as oestrogen. Oestrogen is what increases breast size during ovulation along with the birth control pill and doctor prescribed hormone supplements. However, there is little documented evidence to show that these creams really do much of anything at all, considering that direct injections of Retin-A do not produce much of an increase in breast size, which they should. So firming creams are probably more hype than anything else.

Then there are the women who don’t want to take any kind of drugs, have any kind of surgery or for that matter do anything to their bodies at all and still want to have larger breasts. Well, for these women there are the breast forms, or what are commonly referred to as "falsies." For the most part, these are comfortable and can be worn with confidence that they’re not going to come loose and fall off at the wrong moment.

We live in a society where we want to have the benefits of whatever it is we want but don’t want to have to pay the price for it, whether it be monetary or otherwise. Women want large breasts but don’t want surgery. Or they do want surgery but don’t want any side effects. The woman who don’t want surgery want an alternative option that will give them the same dramatic results as surgery. Unfortunately with breast augmentation you get what you pay for and then some. The most expensive procedures are also the most risky. The cheapest procedures, while being much safer, don’t give the same results.

One of these days we’re all going to just learn to be happy with what God gave us.

Skin care survival guide. Cold winter air is far less humid than warm air, which means skin will be drier in the winter months. Harsh winds make conditions worse by causing moisture to evaporate more quickly from the skin. According to dermatologists, indoor conditions in the winter can be just as bad for complexion.

Indoor heating is abusive for the skin. It pulls the moisture out of the air, which is dehydrating. The older one gets, the drier the skin gets. The glands in skin get smaller and begin vanishing. This diminishes their ability to hydrate. The consequence is drier skin.

Using nutrient-rich moisturizing cream is the most important remedy for winter-beaten skin. To reduce the appearance of existing fine lines and wrinkles while evening out natural skin tones to have a smoother, softer, younger looking, more radiant complexion, apply your moisturizing creams three times a day.

You should also include the following beneficial skin-pampering techniques:

Humidify. When the heat is on, replace lost indoor moisture by running a humidifier in the house.

Use steam rather than sauna. At the gym or spa, instead of the dry-and-drying-sauna, use the steam room. Before steaming, apply a thin layer of Vitamin E oil. Your skin will come out radiant and amazingly soft.

Pamper fingers and toes. Don’t forget these extremities, which take a particularly harsh beating in bitter climates. To bring them back to smoothness, soak feet and hands in warm water mixed with lemon juice and Vitamin E oil. Afterwards, rub on Aloe Ultra Moisture Cream.

Eat goods fats. Food like fish and flaxseed that are loaded with nutritious omega-3 fatty acids can revitalize skin.

Be gentle. Some say exfoliants (scrubs) are too harsh to use on already chapped skin but if you must use one, the gentler, the better.

Wear cotton. For clothing that goes next to your skin, avoid fabrics like wool; they abuse skin with friction and can dry it out.

Drink water frequently. Hydration from the inside, by drinking water is one of the most important things you can do for skin, say dermatologists, in cold weather as well as hot.

Protect. Don’t forget that the sun puts out damaging rays even during the winter months, so use your daily sunscreen.

In this second article on breast augmentation we’re going to go over some of the options available to women who want to have their breasts enlarged.

But before getting to the actual procedures, especially when it comes to implants, the subject of breast implant before and after photos should be discussed.

The main purpose for breast implant photos is to show to the woman contemplating surgery, as close as possible, what she can expect her breasts to look like after the surgery is completed. This is done by looking at photos of subjects with similar bodies to her own. Surgeons keep a portfolio of all their own surgical procedures so the woman can get a very good idea of what his particular work will look like on her, as each surgeon has a different technique.

Because there is some swelling after the surgery, the surgeon will usually have photos at various time intervals after the surgery is completed, so the woman can see what her breasts will probably look like when they are back to normal. Also, some breast implant procedures will leave some scarring. By viewing photos the woman can get a relative idea of how much scarring she can expect. Also, given the time intervals of the photos, which are marked, a woman can get an idea of how long it is going to take for her breasts to heal.

As for the implants themselves, there are plenty of them to choose from.

There are saline implants. These are the only type in the US with FDA approval. These come in all shapes and sizes with various textures. But they are all silicone and salt water based. These became very popular after the FDA ban on pure silicon implants. Unlike silicone implants, if these implants rupture they can be absorbed by the body.

There are many options for these implants that affect their final appearance. Because these implants are softer than pure silicone, when implanted in the muscle they tend to ripple and thus have a more natural appearance. However, when placed just under the skin and above the muscle this lessens the rippling and produces a smoother though not as natural a look. For a woman who wants a larger cleavage, a round shaped implant is used which more naturally imitates the normal curvature of the breasts.

Saline breast implants have come a long way in recent years. It is now possible to insert them through the navel or underarm, position them appropriately and then use a special valve to fill the implants to the desired level. This allows the surgeon to increase the number of implants after surgery and also in many cases reduces recovery time. A patient can usually be back at work within a week after surgery is completed.

While this may seem like a dream come true to many woman who feel they have been cheated in the breast department, there are still many dangers associated with this type of surgery which we will go over in a future article.

Countless people are now using an anti-aging complex that works to help reduce the appearance of existing signs of aging and to help prevent the appearance of new lines and wrinkles in the future. The product they use has an extraordinary, marine-source formulation that is free of alpha-hydroxy acids, yet effectively evens skin tone and retextures, refines, brightens, and firms the skin’s surface.

New pharmaceutical nutrients supply enzymes that amplify the body’s natural process of rejuvenating the skin after sun exposure. Photosomes are fast-acting, light-activated enzymes, while ultrasomes are the slower acting enzymes that work without light. Pharmaceutical nutrients help speed cell renewal in sun-damaged skin to revitalize it from within.

A powerful oxidative-defense complex that is rich with vital nutrients provides optimal nutrition for hair and skin cells. Concentrated whole-grape extract, rice-derived gamma oryzanol, and green tea are powerful antioxidants that keep skin and hair strong, while vitamin E and tocopherols soothe and nourish to maintain the integrity of the skin’s lipids. This breakthrough, topical-flavonoid complex is your first line of defense for beautiful, healthy hair and skin.

The crucial role that vitamin C plays in cell health and collagen synthesis has been known for decades. A revolutionary formulation of water-soluble and lipid-soluble forms of vitamin C that counteract the harsh effects of the environment on the hair and skin’s appearance and provide essential antioxidants. Proline and glycine, highly effective amino acids that draw in moisture, diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Smoother, brighter hair and skin can be yours with this powerful beauty therapy.

Essential fatty acids are a basic building block for healthy skin and hair. Use pharmaceutical products that provide important polyunsaturated fatty acids to support smooth, hydrated skin and soft, manageable hair. Fiber is an important element in maintaining healthy skin because it helps maintain overall body health. Use a great-tasting, low-glycemic drink mix that provides more than twice the amount of fiber.

Parabens preservatives seem to be in everything we touch, taste, or use. They are commonly found in salad dressings, sunscreens, topical dermatological medications, toothpastes, and other products. And they cause more damage than good. Are you using parabens and don’t know it? Do you have allergic reaction to these parabens preservatives? Contact me for a free health assessment.

Every one of us nowadays are obsessed with aesthetics. Why not? We just want to look clean and presentable to the people around us, are we not right? We just want to be able to put our best foot forward, and there’s nothing unnatural with that.

But while people sometimes go to the extremes to look good, most of us are just fine with using facial cleanser on our face, and we’re good to go. Or not.

The facial cleanser market nowadays has become very lucrative, and hard on the middle class’ sorry little pockets. Why should it?

Many brands of cleanser boast of this extract and that, of that ingredient and this, When all of those things can be found around the home. Or if not, they can be bought at the market for a fraction of the cost of the actual cleanser. Don’t you just find that simply outrageous?

All you have to do is read up on the ingredients the facial cleansers use, mix and match a little, experiment on what works for you, be resourceful, and you’ll have an all-natural, definitely cheap facial cleanser specifically tailored for your needs.

And that’s so much better than any off-the-shelf facial cleanser sophisticate that you practically burn money for. Listed in this article are a few ingredients that help enhance the facial cleanser experience.

Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) may be a familiar word if you browse around the facial cleanser aisles much. It’s definitely what made Cleopatra’s skin much smoother and silkier.

That’s because Cleopatra took a bath in milk, yes, that facial cleanser of nature which contains that magic ingredient which is sometimes hard to pronounce. Just because the word is big, it doesn’t mean that you can’t find it in small products.

Let that be a lesson for you to apply the next time you’re out hunting for ingredients for your home-made facial cleanser. You can also find these AHA’s in grapes, oranges, blackberries, and apple juice.

You can search your cupboards for breakfast food that will aid you in whipping up your perfect cleanser. Take oatmeal, for example. It may be bland on the breakfast bowl but on your skin it absorbs oil, exfoliates, and softens skin. Oats are also hypoallergenic and they help in the healing of dry and itchy skin.

You can also head to your garden. If you’ve got an aloe vera plant, break off a leaf and drip some aloe vera gel onto your cleanser concoction. It refreshes your skin as well as reduce pain and heal burns faster.

Or head over to your produce and mash up some fruit or vegetables. Avocado has moisturizing properties. Cucumber hydrates. Toss in some tea leaves for that refreshing feeling when your done a-cleansing.

Those are just a few of the ingredients that you can toss into your facial cleanser for a cheaper and easier facial cleanser. But always be sure to take the necessary precautions.

Freeze and thaw your cleanser and store it away from your food to inhibit bacteria growth. Test the cleanser on the inside of your wrist before using so that you can make sure that it is safe on your skin. Have fun if you can.

Why don’t you and your friends hold a beauty-bar party that makes facial cleansers out of your all-natural reservoir.

Eyes have been called the windows of the soul because of how much they communicate. Eyes give your face energy and individuality. They do not have to be a certain size or shape to be considered pretty - all eyes have their own unique beauty. When makeup is applied to look natural it will bring out the eye’s true color and enhance the eye’s beauty. When you feel good about your makeup you will be more confident and will have one less thing to worry about.

A subtle application of eyeliner, shadows and mascara work together to create magic and make your eyes look their best.

Eye Shadow

Eye shadow is meant to highlight and define the eyes. Eye shadow is used to create depth to bring out the beauty of the eyes. A dark color used on the lid will make the eye appear smaller, while a lighter color will make it appear larger. That is what eye shadow is about creating illusions. These are the basic techniques for the following eye shapes:

Small eyes: Don’t use too much shadow or liner – it will make you eyes look smaller. Apply a light color on eyelid, use a darker color in the crease and use a highlighter under the brow.

Large eyes: Wear darker shadow on the lid and extend it to the crease. Use a flat color under the brow to highlight.

Deep-set eyes: Use light colors on the eyelid and under the brow. Use a medium color in the crease. Emphasize the outer corners with shadow.

Wide-set eyes: Use darker colors on the inner corners of the eye.

Hooded eyes: Apply light colors on the lid. Use darker colors from the center of the eyelid to the outer corners and blend.

Round eyes: Make round eyes longer by using color all around and extending toward the outer corners.

Asian eyes: Apply highlighter under the brow. Use light shadow on the inner half of the lid and a darker color on the outer half.

1. Light colors cause the eyes to open, dark colors will cause the eyes to recede

2. If you have very light skin avoid dark shades

3. Be careful with shimmer – they will bring attention to imperfections and wrinkles.

4. The eye area is the first to show age don’t tug on the skin.

Eyeliners:

Eyeliners are meant to define the eyes so they should do just that, not be the focal point of your makeup. Eyeliners come in various colors and forms liquid, pencil etc. Keep the eyeliner natural. Pencils are available in many colors (for the best look stick to black or brown) and can be sharpened for a fine line. For a smudged effect use a sponge tip shadow applicator or an eye shadow brush. When your pencils are too soft refrigerate them. When they are too hard soften them by holding them between your fingers.

To line the eye, start on the lower lid, just beneath the lashes. When you are finished always smudge the line with your sponge. Stay as close to the lash line as possible. On the upper lid, draw a line form the inner corner to the outer corner, thickening the line toward the outer corner. After the age of 40 keep the line in between the lashes.

Mascara and the creation of beautiful lashes:

Mascara frames your eyes and can make your face come alive. Mascara softly accentuates the eye while thickening and darkening the lashes; it is the finishing touch for eyes. There are several different types to choose from, thickening, and waterproof to smudge proof. Waterproof will need a special remover and smudge proof will wash off easily. It is not a good idea to wear waterproof mascara for extended periods of time since it has a tendency to dry the lashes.

Select a shade of mascara that complements your coloring. Dark shades on pale eyes with brown lashes will darken them and will look harsh. Stay away from blues and other colors since they will ruin your look.

Lashes that are hard to curl may need the help of an eyelash curler. Curl your lashes before you apply mascara – hold for ten to twenty seconds.

To apply mascara look straight into your mirror with your chin slightly lifted so you can see your lashes. Insert the wand only once and twist, don’t pump. Pumping can break the brush bristles and distribute the mascara unevenly and will dry out the mascara faster. Start by rolling the wand from root to tip in an upward motion. Reinsert the brush and apply again. If your eyelashes are thick and long they may clunk together. If this happens let them dry and then separate them with the corner of an eyebrow brush.

Whether you are trying indoor tanning for the first time to get ready for a vacation or to keep your summer tan all year long, there are rules that should be followed. These rules are necessary for your safety as well as for your health. Many people visit tanning salons thinking that they do not present the same health risks as tanning in the sun. While the risks are less, they are still there.

The traditional tanning salon depends upon the use of a tanning bed to produce a tan for a customer. This process is known to expose the body to the harmful UVA rays and can cause skin cancer. If you are going to use this method of indoor tanning, use a lotion with an SPF of not less than 8, but not more than 15.

Because of the dangers of traditional indoor tanning, and the fact that people still want to maintain a tan throughout the winter, the industry has invented some answers. Sunless tanning booths and sunless tanning products are the most popular choices with consumers. They are safe, look good and are easily applied.

Sunless tanning booths operate by literally spraying a mist that contains DHA to create the illusion of a tan. DHA is the same color additive that is used in cosmetics, it covers the body in a color-in this case a varying degree of tan. This type of tanning has had drawbacks when applying color to the feet and hands of a person, these issues have been addressed and are not a concern in most tanning salons.

A spray on tan does not last long, approximately 3-5 days. For this reason, the tanning industry has developed a number of systems that allow you to perform this procedure in the comfort of your home. These systems can be found in local stores and salons as well as in catalogues and online.

Sunless tanning lotions first made their appearance on the market some time ago. Everyone knows the reputation that these products had for leaving the skin orange instead of tan. These early products turned many consumers off to this alternative to sun tanning. Thankfully, the industry has been working on this particular problem and has solved it for most people. Be careful, however, the cheaper lotions may still turn skin orange.

Sunless tanning lotions work in much the same way as the spray tanners. They coat the skin with a DHA coloring. The biggest difference is that it is applied by hand and at home. It is important to carefully follow all of the instructions for use that are printed on the package. This very important step will help you avoid elbows, feet and hands that appear darker than the rest of your body. This type of a tan lasts about the same as the airbrush solution, about 3-5 days. However, by applying a layer or two everyday, you can build upon the tan that you are creating. Therefore, you are able to control how deep the color of the tan becomes.

Indoor tanning is becoming a safer alternative to lying in the sun. As the population learns more about the dangers of the sun, they are looking for their tan from safer methods.

The healing properties of greeen tea have put it in the forefront of today’s wellness news.

Known for its versatile and positive properties benefiting the whole body, it promotes blood circulation and increases the body’s natural resistance, helping with oxygenation.

Proponents of green tea claims it achieves greater harmony and improves the body’s ability to handle the external physical and psycological pressures of life.

Green tea also prevents tooth decay and make teeth more resistant to acids, promote digestion and cleanse the body internally.

Unlike black tea, which oxidizes as it dries, changing the characteristics of the tea, green tea is flash-steamed for about 20 seconds to retain the maximum amount of active properties.

Green tea contains vitamin B, as well as C and E. Many tea drinkers say that they actually feel less tired and brightens their whole outlook.
